From researching on the internet trying to find images of the new A frames I found these. I think the colours they chose to use arn't very appealing. I need to do a survey of these trainers to see other people in the target market age group think of them and if they would wear them.
Here is the survey I have written up and am now going to send out to my friends using facebook, IM standard email and printed copies.

Umbro - Survey
I am doing this short survey as part of a design brief I am doing for Umbro. I need to get under the skin of Umbro as a brand and see why they have fell off the wagon where footwear is concerned. I want to see what it would take to get 16 – 24 year olds wearing them again. I want to know what people think about them as a brand and the quality of the footwear they produce. I also would like to ask if any of the people I ask would wear Umbros and if not why… So please complete the following questions in a much detail as you can. I really appreciate this, thanks.

What are your thoughts about Umbro? (E.g. did you forget they were still out there, did you know they originated in Wilmslow, Manchester in 1920s?)
*
Have you ever liked Umbro as a brand; do you like the footwear they sell?
If not what are your reasons for this? E.g. do you not like the quality or style?

Yes or no answer… Did you know that in 1966 England and all but one team were sponsored by Umbro in the world cup?
*
What could Umbro do to get you to wear their footwear again?
(Not football boots) There is a new casual trainer by Umbro called the A Frames they look similar to Converse… Interested?
